Intermission Artists Society provides a support base for artists (Local, National & International) working within a contemporary context. Intermission curates and facilitates cross-disciplinary projects and events in non-traditional spaces, and fosters the growth of art in experimental and emerging forms. Intermission provides studio space for developing performance, installation and cross-disciplinary artistic projects.

The purposes of the society are:

• To expand the creative potential of artists by providing critical, spatial and technological support.
  
• To nurture and promote artistic processes of inquiry, collaboration and experimentation.
  
• To foster creative communities and raise the profiles of participating artists.

Intermission facilitates the realization of artists’ desires in order to expand the limits of human experience.
